I bought this a few weeks ago. Great film. Underrated, in my opinion. I think I saw it twice in the theater and several times when it was on cable. The iTunes price was right so I bought it. I love movies made in 1980’s New York.
Second Brian De Palma movie in two nights. I’m on fire.
Would you entrust Gerard Butler with saving the planet? Me neither.
One of my guilty pleasures. I love this movie. Saw it the other day. I searched Amazon and it’s $60 on DVD. Not a typo. I could by a used DVD but I prefer digital. Not available on digital.
Why do bad things always happen to me?
I’m watching A Quiet Place (finally!) and it’s great. But I do need to get to a point in my life where this guy is not Jim Halpert. It’s not his fault, it’s mine.
Two thing that I vowed to be more into this year was watching films and reading books. I’ve done both moderately but not as aggressively as I would have liked. And now, as we approach the end of August, I have two books that I am slowly wallowing through and an abundance of films that I have missed at the theater that I will have to catch on home video.
I know this seems like a very lofty thing to be upset about but I vowed! I can rebound, I know. I just have to put some of the surfing through the internet aside and get cracking.
My TV has been on the SundanceTV channel for days because I was watching Law & Order and I haven’t had the strength to change the channel since. This movie is on right now. Surprisingly good, I think. And Felicity Jones. Hubba-hubba.
